I'm a 26 year old "jack of some trades master of none" artist, born and raised in Long Island NY.
I graduated from high school in 98' with honors in art classes, Was in the National Art Honor Society, and received a small scholarship from my school for thus. I attended Art Institute of Philadelphia where I majored in Animation for a brief time, and then moved back to NY and attended Briarcliffe in Patchouge where I majored in Graphic design. Right now I aspire to be a childrens book illustrator or be able to put my graphic skills to use for some one whom has need of them.

My favorite subjects of study are animals, nature and cultural lore, especially Asian related ones. I have a huge passion for Asian studies, specifically focusing on Japan. (as often my artwork reflects) The very continent of Asia is one of the oldest on this planet and the cultures are so rich with creatures beyond the imagination of most western societies. I have a strong facination with Shapeshifters, Religious lore and deities and the legends surrounding such. Speaking of Japan- As of currently I am taking classes for Japanese Language for almost a year at the Tenri Institude in Manhattan. Why Japanese? thats hard for me to answer because its so complex. For one its a language that stirrs something deep within my soul and subconcious that I cannot begin to explain.

I have a love for music, and truth be told its one of the major forces fueling my artwork. I rarely ever draw without some form of it on, but not the music one would think an everyday person would listen to. Sure I listen to and love 80's music- but My all time favourite genre is J-pop.That's right J-pop. (Japanese pop music) It ignites such a powerful feeling inside myself, and is so much more expressive (I feel) then the standard English word. Songs of happy, cutesy, feel good music, and songs of sorrows heartbreak and loneliness. For me its music brought to life. The Singers (Seiyuu) Place a part of their soul and energy into what they create.
My Favourite Artists are Megumi Hayashibara, Mayaa Sakamoto, Hiroko Kasuhara, Ayumi Hamasaki, KOTOKO, Yuki Kajiura, Koyasu Takehito, Tomokazu Seki, SMAP and many many more. 80's music Wise I love Phil Colins, Steve Winwood, U2, Paula Abdul & Madonna, The Fixx etc. Standard big names really :) As far as Instrumentals go, I love the musical stylings of Keiko Matsui and Dan Gibson.

One of my online aliases is the three tailed Kitsune (or fox spirit) known as "Naryu" whom has evolved through many phases and changes through out the years always to reflect and matched my interests. I'm a firm believer from an artist and a dreamers perspective that when you draw something so frequent that supposed to be a reflection of yourself, it blossoms and grows along side you, and develops into something so much more, "What is loved, lives" essentially. A symbol of freedom, joy and the world of dreams Naryu has become a ' living artistic catalyst' of sorts into worlds my mind alone cannot escape in.
The other being someone you see semi frequently, sort of a "half mix" of Naryu and something more, is Narumi. Narumi is my 'human alias' here online. She's everything I would love to be- in physical looks, personality and all. Like Naryu she was something I began drawing back in 96' She like Naryu grew along side me, She has been an outlet of expression, something that came before the Kitsune but is now something integrated with.
